  1. This was hilarious. The heretical sermon had me rolling on the floor. “God is like a pinata, you gotta beat him with a stick.” Brilliant!

  3. I can certainly tell that Dan comes out of an evangelical background. As much as it made me laugh, this would have been retweeted by every member of the local megachurch. I laughed so hard I snorted, until the “good” sermon started. I was struck by how painful it was for me to enjoy the goodness of the good sermon, knowing that that there are *many* still being fed the former.

    Great episode!

  4. I can certainly tell that Pastor Price comes out of an evangelical background. As hard as I laughed, it would have been well received (and some of those soundbites would have been retweeted) by a church I once attended. I laughed so hard that I snorted, but quickly stopped once the good sermon started. I felt almost guilty enjoying pure law and gospel, knowing that there are *many* still being fed the former.

    Great episode!
