Episode #15 – Warning! A Single Pastor In The Vineyard

Lewis and Daniel are joined once again by Table Talk Radio host, Evan Goeglein, to play Good Tweet, Bad Tweet where they learn how many stones are too many and that “papist” is a compliment. They then introduce a new segment called “Hot Topic,” where they look at an article by Mark Driscoll about Single Pastors and address some of the issues they have with it. All the single pastors, all the single pastors… if you like it, then put a ring on it.

  1. Hey there,

Pastor Goeglein, this is Trent Demarest — Krista Codington’s nephew. We met once when I was in town for my cousin’s wedding.

I don’t know where you’ve been in Portland, but there’s plenty of meat in the city! I would recommend two places for the next time you’re in Stumptown and are craving the flesh of beasts: Laurelhurst Market and/or Lardo. Yes, Lardo. That’s a real place.

I enjoyed this episode immensely. Thanks.

  2. A keeper IMHO. Evan’s comments (at around :45) about sorting the pastor’s mission of forgiveness/retention of sins from armchair psychology were particularly sharp and new-to-me. This argument should probably be heard more often.
