Episode #41 – Amillennial Discipline

In this episode, Tim and Lewis talk about Anthony Sacramone’s review of Left Behind, and play a much need, long-forgotten game of Meology vs. Theology. Then they come back and answer every question that was tweeted or Facebooked to the Boars on Monday morning, talking about Universal Objective Justification, Church discipline, eschatology, and more!

  1. While listening to Rev. Polzin’s me-ology sermon I had to literally shake myself and say, “It’s all right. It’s just a parody. The pod people haven’t replaced my pastor with an ELCA college prof. Deep breaths… deep breaths.”
    -Well done.

Also, I was 19 when I finally came across a Lutheran commentary on Revelation, having grown up surrounded by Southern Baptists (noisy) and Catholics and ELCA Lutherans (Theologically mute on the issue in Akron at the time). It was like I had discovered a whole new Christianity, or stepped up to the top of a mountain and seen the world anew. Whew, what a deliverance.
